Our games

Counting Mice

Ages 5 and under iPhone and iPad Android phones and tablets

Counting Mice is a gentle, giggly counting game for preschoolers. Count the mice, tap the number, and cheer as they share a pizza. Miss one? The mice ask you to count again, and a friendly hand helps you start. Miss twice? The mice from next door come running, grab the pizza, and scamper off. Then everyone counts together and your child taps the right answer to get a fresh pizza.

The game adapts from 1 to 3, to 1 to 5, to 1 to 10 as your child grows. Everything is spoken aloud, so pre-readers can play on their own.

Adding Mice

Ages 4 to 7 iPhone and iPad Android phones and tablets

Adding Mice is a gentle, giggly addition game and the standalone sequel to Counting Mice. A bus pulls up with some mice already aboard and the driver announces the count. More mice run up from the stop, and your child taps each one as it climbs on, counting on aloud: "four... five!" Then they tap the number, the bus honks, and everyone drives off to the pizza party. Miss one? The driver honks and a friendly hand helps you count on again. Miss twice? The bus stalls, everybody climbs out, and the driver counts them back on with your child before they tap the right answer.

The game moves from sums to 5, to counting on to 10, to filling a bus of ten and counting the mice who queue for the next one, up to 20. Everything is spoken aloud, so pre-readers can play on their own, and the number sentence appears on the bus for children who are starting to read numerals.

Multiplying Mice

Ages 6 to 9 iPhone and iPad Android phones and tablets

Multiplying Mice is a gentle, giggly multiplication game and the third game in the series. The mice are having a pizza party in the garden: a few tables stand on the lawn with the same number of mice at each one, and the waiter announces "Three tables. Three mice at each table." Your child taps each table to serve its pizza and hears the running total, "three... six... nine!", then taps or types the answer. Miss one? The dinner bell rings, the pizzas are whisked away, and a friendly hand helps you count by threes again. Miss twice? The neighbours run through the party and carry off every pizza. Then everyone counts the mice table by table and your child gives the right answer to bring more pizza.

Multiplication as equal groups, so the count and the product always agree. The game moves from facts up to 4 × 4 on a number strip, to 8 × 8 and then 12 × 12 on a number pad. Everything is spoken aloud, and the number sentence appears after every answer for children who are learning to read it.
